Elementary

Elementary is a Project GLAD® strand that provides rigorous professional learning grounded in research-based, effective classroom strategies. Designed to support K–6 educators, the strand integrates language acquisition and content-area instruction to help students develop language proficiency while mastering grade-level standards.

Through collaborative professional learning, educators explore the research behind the model, observe Project GLAD® Agency Trainers implementing strategies with students, and plan and prepare classroom-ready materials for immediate application. Participants leave with practical tools and strategies to confidently apply Project GLAD® in their classrooms.

This strand can provide trainings in English, Spanish or bilingually, based on your school setting and professional learning needs.
