What was U.S. foreign policy during the Cold War, and how did that policy draw the U.S. into conflicts that have contributed to the migration of Central Americans, Asians and Europeans to the United States? Students will study how the Cold War impacted the lives of those in Eastern Europe, Korea, Southeast Asia, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua, and how that continues today.
